Chateau Canon la Gaffeliere

Situated at the southern slopes of Saint-Emilion the property of Chateau Canon la Gaffeliere descends towards the Dordogne Rive. The roots of this wine chateau lead back to Roman times. The name comes from the medieval word for "lepers" (gaffets) and really there used to be a leprosarium in the 14th century.
